Frances Turner is a fresh face joining the cast in a familiar role. Turner replaces Alvina August as Monique, the ex-wife of series regular Mother’s Milk after August portrayed the character in the show’s first season. It is unknown why August was replaced for this role.

Turner has starred in a number of featured roles on popular television series, including the X-Men spinoff The Gifted, wherein she portrayed the character Paula Turner. She has also appeared on The Man in the High Castle and, more recently, in a recurring role as Dr. Lyn Malvo in New Amsterdam.

9 Jack Doolan And Kristin Booth

Jack Doolan and Kristin Booth star as Tommy and Tessa, respectively. These two Supes together make up the superhero duo known as the TNT Twins, who serve as members of the Payback Team. Each are slated for seven episodes of the upcoming season, implying that they will have large roles in the events therein.

While neither Doolan nor Booth is a particularly major star, each is recognizable in his or her own right. Doolan, a British actor, picked up a worthwhile following after his main role as Tyler in John Challis’s comedy series The Green Green Grass. Meanwhile, Booth has made a name for herself in Signed, Sealed, Delivered, a series of Hallmark television films in which she plays the female lead, Shane McInerney.

8 Nick Wechsler

Nick Wechsler portrays the Supe Blue Hawk in season three of The Boys. This character has landed in some hot water with the public after being implicated with excessive brutality amidst his superheroic exploits, partially due to the world’s increased awareness of superhero abuse scandals after Stormfront’s fall from grace last season.

Known for his work on popular television series, Wechsler may be most recognizable for appearing in six episodes of Chicago P.D. as Kenny Rixton, the short-term replacement for series regular Adam Ruzek. Nick Wechsler has also gained a following as a result of his tenure on the sci-fi drama Roswell, where he portrayed the character of Kyle Valenti over the course of three seasons.

7 Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron makes a surprise cameo in the first episode of The Boys Season 3 as a fictionalized version of Aya Cash’s Stormfront in one of Vought International’s superhero films, Dawn of the Seven, taking over after the Supe’s very public fall from grace at the end of Season 2.

Theron is a Hollywood A-list with numerous recognizable roles under her belt. The actress has appeared in the last several Fast and Furious films as the villainous Cipher and recently made a cameo in a mid-credits scene of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the sorceress Clea, a character who undoubtedly has a long future in the MCU. Other notable portrayals by Theron include Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster, for which the actress won an Academy Award and MI6 spy Lorraine Broughton in Atomic Blonde.

5 Matthew Edison

Matthew Edison is a face with which many The Boys fans are familiar, as he has been a key part of Amazon’s marketing for the new season. Edison plays Cameron Coleman, an anchorman for the Vought News Network, who reports nothing but favorable things about Homelander and the Seven.

While most fans will know Edison from his many promotional videos for season 3 of The Boys, the actor has also made a number of guest appearances on popular series. However, some fans may recognize him for his work in soap operas, particularly his long tenure on The Young and the Restless. Villaneuva also appeared as Owen in seven episodes of the rebooted Nancy Drew series on the CW.

3 Sean Patrick Flanery

A new character that may prove to be incredibly important to future episodes of The Boys is Sean Patrick Flanery’s Supe, Gunpowder. This aging superhero was the one-time sidekick of Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy before joining the super-team Payback.

Viewers might recognize Flanery from his early work as a younger version of Indiana Jones in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles or later projects such as Saw: The Final Chapter. The actor also achieved a larger following as a result of his leading role opposite Norman Reedus in the cult gangster film The Boondock Saints.

2 Laurie Holden

Laurie Holden joins the cast of The Boys Season 3 as the Supe known as the Crimson Countess, who has the power to biologically create fireballs to use as weapons in battle. The Crimson Countess is the former lover of Soldier Boy, who was once a member of the Seven’s predecessor super-team, Payback.
