How to make a paper bee craft?

What do you need

  • optional: pattern
  • construction paper or plain paper in different colors
  • scissors
  • Gum

step by step tutorial

Start by building the foundation of your craft. You can make it as big as a full-size stationery/A4 paper, or much smaller (we like quarter-sheet paper better).

Cut a strip of yellow paper.

This will make the bee’s body. You can draw the black stripes with a marker or paste the stripes on black paper (now or later).

Apply glue to one end and make a paper roll.

Glue the paper roll to the base.

Glue strips of black paper to the body of the bee if you haven’t already.

Your body should be like this right now.

Make a smaller roll of yellow paper and glue it to the body roll.

This will make the bee’s head.

Add Googly eyes or draw eyes.

Cut a pair of wings from white or light blue paper and glue them to the body of the bee.

Cut a long triangle (stinger) from black paper and glue it to the body of the bee.

Finally, cut off the two antennae and glue them to the top or head of the bee.

finished! Now you know how to make a bee out of paper.
