How to Draw a Mermaid – Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Today we’re going to show you a simple step-by-step tutorial on how to draw a mermaid! Your kids will love it because it makes drawing a mermaid really easy. Just follow the simple steps and you will be drawing in no time.

You can change that too, there are many possibilities when it comes to haircuts – we gave our mermaid long straight hair, but any hairstyle will do. Your kids can have their hair long, short, curly, wavy… the way they want it. Or they can draw a mermaid that looks just like them! They can change a few details and easily make a salamander.

The first step in our tutorial for drawing a mermaid is to draw her face. Start by making a wide U.

Let’s add the details. Draw the eyes. Start with the outer circles and add details. Draw eyelashes and eyebrows. Add a simple mouth.

Then draw two lines for the neck.

Next comes the base of the hooves and the arch.
