Google Could Be Working On Another Pixel Flagship

The aforementioned screen resolution could belong to the mythical Pixel Ultra phone, or it could grace the cover display of Google’s rumored foldable phone. At this point in time, it is mostly impossible to predict what this mysterious phone is. Per a previous report from a display industry insider, the Pixel-series foldable’s screen size will be comparable to that of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Fold 4, but the aspect ratio will fall more in line with Oppo’s short and stout Find N foldable, and the cover display will be smaller at 5.8-inches. However, the Pixel Fold aka Notepad appears to have hit some development snag, leading to a delay in its planned debut.

The company’s smartphone strategy has finally started to get some semblance of success, thanks to the cut-throat competitive pricing of the Pixel 6 series. More than the Pixel 6, the real hype has been generated by the Pixel 6a. It’s great to see that the design is fresh and familiar, the camera setup sounds trustworthy, and the update cycle also instills confidence. For the first time, Google’s mid-ranger is not going to cut corners in terms of raw processing power. Google is chasing the same formula as the iPhone SE here, and if the Pixel 6a can avoid the buggy reputation of its predecessors, it just might prove to be a winner for the company.
