Four Leaf Clover Craft

Scatter the luck with this four-leaf clover craft or pull out a leaf and you’ve got a great St. Patrick’s Day craft to make with your kids.

A four leaf clover is said to bring good luck. While finding one can be quite a daunting task, making your own out of paper is easy.

You can also use this craft as a St. Patrick’s Day craft, just turn it into a 3-leaf clover and you’re done.

What do you need:

  • scissors
  • light green cardboard
  • dark green cardboard
  • Gum
  • pencil
  • circle punch

Used materials

Let’s start!

step by step instructions

Draw a large heart shape on the light green card.

Stage 1

Follow this pattern three more times.

Cut out hearts.

Stage 3

Draw a smaller heart shape on the darker green card.

step 4

Trace this little heart shape three more times.

step 5

Cut out the shapes.

Step 6

Now take the light green card again and draw the third small heart shape.

Step 7

Trace this heart shape three more times.

Step 8

Then cut them.

Step 9

Make three clover leaves by gluing them on top of each other by arranging the hearts according to their sizes as in the photo.

Pierce a green circle using the circle punch.

Step 11

Apply glue on the circle and glue the four clover leaves.

The clover should now look like this.

Step 13

Draw a body freehand. Use darker green cardstock.

Cut the stem with scissors.

Step 15

Glue the stem to the leaves with glue.

Everything is done here!

How to make a four leaf clover craft
What do you need:
the scissors
light green card stock
dark green card stock
glue
pencil
circle puncher

Let’s start!
Step by step instructions
Draw a large heart shape on the light green card stock.

Trace this shape three more times.

Cut out the hearts.

On the darker green card stock, draw a smaller heart shape.

Trace this smaller heart shape three more times.

Cut out the shapes.

Now take the light green card stock again and draw the third smaller heart shape.

Trace this heart shape three more times.

Then cut them out.

Make three clover leaves by gluing the hearts on top of each other, arranging them by size as shown in the photo.

Punch a green circle using the circle punch.

Put glue on the circle and glue the four clover leaves to it.

The clover should look like this now.

Draw a stem freehand. Use darker green card stock.

Cut the stem using scissors.

Attach the stem to the leaves with glue.

Everything is done here!

Now create a bunch of them so you can decorate your house or share them with your friends.

You can try using different colored paper if you like.
