How to make 3D Frog Life Cycle Crafts

¸

What do you need:

  • our butterfly lifecycle model template
  • thicker printing paper/cardboard
  • scissors
  • Gum
  • optional: coloring materials if printing the black and white version

step by step tutorial

Print models – pre-color or black and white 3D diorama. The first step with the black and white template is to color it.

Cut out the pieces of the diorama – cut along the entire outline.

Cut 4 parts.

Then fold along the dotted line on the diorama template.

Make nice, clean creases.

Run your fingers over the folds or use a craft stick.

Apply glue to the area marked with the word glue.

Push the piece with the word glue under the quarter circle piece and glue it together. You will get a quarter cylindrical shape.

Repeat with the other 3 pieces.

Now glue them together.

Start by gluing the first two – apply glue all over one and glue them together.

Wait for the glue to dry.

Continue with the others.

Now cut out the parts of the frog’s life cycle.

You can include or exclude name parts.

You will see dotted lines and words pasted into each of the pieces.

Fold along the dotted lines and apply glue where indicated.

For the eggs, fold along the dotted line, apply glue and stick it somewhere in the water.

Then there is the tadpole stage that folds the two pieces…

…and paste it inside the diorama as shown in the picture below.

Next comes the frog, you can take its head out of the water.

The last one is the frog.

Glue the lilypad to the diorama first.

Then stick the frog on the lilypad.

You can also paste the names of each stage of the frog’s life cycle into the diorama.

Everything is ready, your 3D Frog Life Cycle Craft is ready to be viewed.
